Motor when you want it. Foil when you don't.
Two ways to get on foil without waiting for the forecast — fully electric with Lift Foils, or motor-assisted with FLITELab AMP. We stock and ride both at Woolacombe and Menai.
Skip the waiting.
Electric & Assist is the gear that stops the forecast running your life. On one side, Lift Foils — fully electric eFoils that fly on flat water in no wind. On the other, FLITELab's AMP system — a foil-assist motor that drops into the board when it's marginal and comes out again when it isn't.
Different tools for the same problem: getting foiling on days the sea gives you nothing. Some riders pick one. Plenty run both — the eFoil for dead flat days, the AMP board for everything in between. We stock the full range of each and we ride them ourselves.

Lift Foils
No wind, no waves, no problem. The LIFT5 is the fifth generation of the eFoil that started the category — a direct-drive motor with no gearbox, which makes it about the quietest thing on the water. Squeeze the Elite hand controller and go. The LIFTX takes it further: a true hybrid that folds its prop away so you can carry on riding the swell with the motor off.

FLITELab* AMP
The middle ground. The AMPJet cartridge drops into the AMP board's tail — 25kg of thrust, no exposed prop, fully integrated — then comes out again in under ten seconds when the surf shows up. Catch more waves, start in lighter wind, link longer downwind runs, and ride the same board raw when it's firing. One board, motor when you want it.
Electric or assist?
Both get you foiling without waiting for the forecast. The question is how much of the work you want the motor to do — all of it, or just enough to get you on the wave.
Fully electric means you never depend on conditions at all. Assist means you keep the pure ride and add power only when it's marginal. We ride both. Here's how we'd steer you.
"The point isn't the motor. The point is you get to foil on a day you'd otherwise be sitting on the beach."
Slack Tide — on electric & assist foilingRide it before you commit.
Electric and assist gear isn't cheap, and it's hard to know which side you're on until you've stood on both. So stand on both.
We stock Lift and FLITELab and we ride them ourselves — at Woolacombe in North Devon and on the Menai Strait in North Wales. Book a session and we'll put you on an eFoil and an AMP board back to back, in real conditions, and let the water make the argument.
We're foilers who happen to sell gear. No showroom pitch — just an honest read on which one fits how and where you ride.
Long sand-bottomed bay with flat inside water at the right tide — ideal for a first eFoil flight, and open enough to open the AMP up.
Sheltered, tidal, technical. Where electric earns its keep on the days the wind never turns up.
Electric, assist, or both.
